FAQs

  • On-Site CDL Exams performs the required DOT Physical Exam & DOT Pre-Employment Urine Drug Screen for CDL student drivers. Furthermore, we provide these services on-site at your location!

  • On-Site CDL Exams performs all services on-site at your facility. All we need is a small-medium sized room for the DOT physical exam, and a restroom that can be primed for the DOT Urine Drug Screen.

  • This is a multi-faceted answer.

Financially: We price match for ALL services, guaranteeing you the best rate in the local market. This means if your tuition covers student DOT exams, we are directly benefiting both your revenue and profit.

Time: Having On-Site CDL Exams at your location maximizes your time (and your students’ time) by minimizing travel, wait times, testing delays, testing errors, and the headaches of scheduling through a third party provider. We always offer no-hassle scheduling, to fit the needs of both your class volume and frequency.

Driver Friendly: This doesn’t mean we pass everyone automatically, however being in a comfortable, familiar location does increase pass rates for drivers who suffer from white coat syndrome, high stress, and other variable medical conditions. Furthermore, On-Site CDL Exams provides same day medical certifications to all student drivers who pass the DOT physical examination.

Streamlining: Mixing the aforementioned benefits streamlines the entire health & safety protocol for all CDL students.

Competition: It’s no secret that CDL school is a competitive business market. On-Site CDL Exams allows you to become the one-stop-shop as a CDL driving school, giving you a leg up on the local competition. Not to mention our services make your school a more attractive pick for prospective students.

  • Quick Answer: Yes!

We submit all physical examination results to the national registry at the time of service, and we can easily print/sign all medical certifications with a bluetooth/wifi printer on-site. Similarly, we can email all certifications to both the students, and CDL school employee representatives.

  • On-Site CDL Exams does have a standard contract used to both ensure safety for both parties, and improve compliance of both parties. Our standard contract has a 24 month time period, with automatic renewal unless termination is sent in writing, by either party, within 60 days of the renewal period. On-Site CDL Exams will notify you when your 60-day window is approaching.

  • This answer depends on your class volume, and class frequency. On-Site CDL Exams can accommodate weekly, bimonthly, or monthly standing appointments depending on volume/frequency. On-Site CDL Exams encourages schools to find a consistent schedule to ensure all student drivers are fully certified prior to approaching DPS for driving exams.

  • Quick Answer: Of Course!

On-Site CDL Exams will provide service to all of your school locations. We may not be able to service all locations on the same date, however all locations will receive the same price match guarantee. • This answer depends on your class volume. That said, most drivers take approximately 10-15 minutes for the physical examination, and 5-10 minutes for the urine drug screen. We can service 2-4 student drivers per hour depending on CDL Student health presentation/clinical background, readiness to take the urine drug screen, and internal facility flow.

  • Yes, this is a common occurrence for larger trucking and transportation companies. However our services would only apply for student CDL drivers, who are preparing to work with your company. We do not provide services for non-student CDL drivers.

  • The answer to this question is variable. If you have signed a contract with a local provider, there may be a termination clause/wait period prior to beginning On-Site CDL Exams services. Generally, this is 30-90 days with written notice.

If you do not have a contract with your local provider, you can switch to On-Site CDL Exams services immediately.

On-Site CDL Exams respects long standing community relationships, and if your school wishes to utilize both On-Site CDL Exams services, and a community partner, there may be creative ways to have this happen - including allowing your local provider to apply for a position as an On-Site CDL Examiner.
